Safe System Approach — The AfroSAFE Project

The second AfRSO webinar presented the experience and deliverables of the AfroSAFE project. AfroSAFE (‘Safe System for radical improvement of road safety in African countries’) is a European Union research project (grant agreement 101069500) aimed at advancing the spread of the Safe System approach in African road safety initiatives.
The webinar showcased how AfroSAFE exposed local practitioners and decision-makers to state-of-the-art knowledge and practices in road safety management based on Safe System principles, and supported them through sharing knowledge, tools, and methods adapted to African conditions.
